Plastic and metal processing

Some of our client companies do not fit into the traditional industrial segments. Therefore, we have grouped these companies together under the heading "Plastics and Metal Processing".

On the one hand, there are companies whose production structure closely resembles that of an automotive plant. On the other hand, there are also companies that are more comparable to a paper mill. This results in a wide range of different production structures, which is not found in other industries.
Nevertheless, the same boundary conditions apply to this segment as to other industrial segments. The "operational footprint" must be actively defined based on strategic considerations in order to capture this range.

In the West, the problem arises that predominantly simple, manual tasks can no longer be presented as competitive without automation. Tasks for which competitive processes cannot be demonstrated must be outsourced after thorough strategic evaluation.
Within the company's own production facilities, strict adherence to LEAN principles is a fundamental requirement. This applies not only to manufacturing but also to supporting processes such as warehousing, quality assurance, and purchasing.
As in other sectors, customer-centric innovation and a stable financial foundation are essential prerequisites for sustainable success in the focus sector of plastics and metal processing.
